Bombing North Vietnam, China, or Laos?

from the CBS Evening News, April 4, 1968.

This bombing raid was not officially recognized as an American bombing, but considering the significant bombing and fighting the U.S. engaged in Laos and Cambodia before and after April 1968, it is highly likely that this raid was carried out by Americans, not Laotians flying American planes. Government lies to the American people have been going on as long as the Government requires Americans to support its wars.

Martin Luther King was known as a civil rights crusader, but he also spoke out strongly against using war as a means to an ends by a government. King promoted using non-violent means only. However, there is much more profit to be made using public monies to create weapons of mass destruction, which makes it difficult for a government to choose a non-violent policy. Better to keep the people in fear, while convincing them to send their children to fight for what appears to be a just cause.
