So many reasons to hack:

• Gain majority control of House of Representatives or a Congressional Seat
• Gain majority control of Senate
• Win the Presidency

So many ways to hack:

• System access privileges to trap doors
• Access by access port by local hacker in middle of night.
• New PROM upgrades with special fixes in for Election of 2004, etc.
• Results sent in Microsoft Excel -- set to read/write/clone/intercept when sent over Internet
• Virtual magnets, collectors, off by 1 flips,
• Trojan horses and viruses

Consider the invisibility of the hack:

• No verifiable record of what the voter intended
• No way to know whether it was hacked, or not!
• YourVote Doesn't Count!

So if the Voting Process is hacked, Your Vote may be:

• Morphed to another party
• Thrown in the Virtual Trash
• Cloned

Depending on what the hacker wants to have happen!

What if the hacker is not O'Dell, but a Terrorist? An Anarchist? The cop in the bathroom cabinet?

Verifiable Voting means you can accurately measure how many people voted for a candidate.

It does NOT mean knowing who you voted for.

So What? My Vote isn't important -- it's tweedle dee or tweedle dum; no difference really.

O, so we already are corrupt. OK. Never Mind. Guess we shouldn't say anything, especially since the only other thing we can do besides vote is NOT vote --- hmmm, just what the 'powers that be' had in mind all along...
