OK, so the Democrats will win, but that's only because the Republicans can only warp the election by about 10%

Since more electronic voting machines than ever are in use in the 2006 election, we will see many Republican races that just "squeak through" by the slimmest of margins.

What's that you say? There will be recounts? It won't matter. The fix is in. Poll watchers won't know. The Elections Bureau won't know. But it will happen. And it won't be exactly like 2004, just like 2004 wasn't exactly like 2000. There are so many ways to do this and so little record keeping they can keep us closing loopholes for years. Too bad we can't get a minority party to at least be as successful as the Republicans under Reagan's Democratic Congress were.
